Terminology
In the following terms and conditions, 'we/us' refers to Angus Home Services. Upon
submitting an order with us, you shall be deemed as having read, understood and agreed with our terms and conditions which follow.
Materials
Where large materials, or large quantities of materials are required for any particular work, these are likely to be delivered directly to the customer's premises for reasons of convenience and cost efficiency. In such circumstances the customer shall be liable for payment of such materials at the time of ordering and responsible for their safe and suitable storage from the point of delivery until required by us. We cannot be held responsible for materials damaged or lost/stolen whilst not on site nor in attendance at the premises, and shall accept no such responsibility.Quotations
All quotations are given completely free and without obligation to the customer. These shall always be provided in person, with us having studied all aspects of the work required, which will enable us to provide you with the most accurate quotation. Only in exceptionally rare circumstances will quotations ever be provided by telephone, email, or other medium without us having previously inspected the full job requirements. The aforementioned quotations shall be provided in good faith and it will be customary for us to return a written quotation within a period of 48 (forty-eight) hours. This allows us time to check availability of materials and obtain the best possible prices for you, as well as prepare your written quotation. Whilst we shall always endeavour to obtain the best prices for you, we will never sacrifice quality nor safety for cost.Placing Your Order
Once you have received your written quotation, please take your time to ensure you understand all aspects of the work involved. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions, no matter how trivial you may consider them to be, as it is our desire that you should be happy with every aspect of our business relationship from initial contact to the finished job. Once happy and ready to proceed, then simply sign, date and return the appropriate copy to us. We shall keep you fully updated at each step regarding materials availability and delivery.Order Restrictions
We can regrettably only accept legitimate orders from customers of the age of 18 (eighteen) years or above. In such instances where a younger person is the resident of the property, a parent or responsible guardian shall be required to authenticate and accept full legal responsibility for all aspects of a placed order, materials and services.Payments
All payments shall become due immediately upon completion of works, site clearance and appropriate site husbandry. Payments may only be made by cash, cheque or bank transfer. All materials and/or equipment supplied by us shall remain our property until payment has been received in full.Alterations to Orders
Alterations to placed orders may be made with the following provisos:(i) A reduced order must be requested prior to materials and/or equipment being ordered.
(ii) An increased order may be made at any time, however if the initial materials and/or equipment have already been despatched then the customer may face additional delivery charges from the supplier.
Cancellation Charges
In the event of a placed and confirmed order being cancelled, then the customer shall be liable for any charges levied by the supplier of ordered materials and/or equipment.Decency
Our staff shall always treat our customers with the utmost respect and courtesy, and it is therefore only proper that they are treated in the same respectful manner. Should our staff receive any form of verbal or physical abuse, then all works shall be immediately terminated and the relevant authorities notified where applicable. This shall also be the case for inappropriate telephone calls or other forms of media communication. Where a current order is in force, then this shall be immediately terminated with the proviso that no future business shall be conducted with the offending party.Regulatory Law
